Serhiy Yuriyovych Nazarenko (born 16 February 1980 in Kirovohrad, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Ukrainian football midfielder. ==Club career== Serhiy Nazarenko first began his career his hometown of Kirovohrad in the then-Ukrainian Premier League club Zirka Kirovohrad. He made his move to Dnipro in 1997 and although he debuted for the main team on 3 October 1999, Nazarenko appeared for lower levels of the club until the 2002–03 season.〔(Profile on official website of FC Dnipro ) – 〕 In 2006–07 season he received the best player award of the Ukrainian Premier League, according to a poll conducted by "Sport-Express" newspaper. On 29 July, scoring two goals against FC Metalurh Donetsk, he became the top Dnipro's goalscorer in Ukrainian Premier League of all time with 32 goals, overtaking Oleh Venglinsky with 31.
